MANCHESTER, NH – Executive Councilors Dave Wheeler, Milford, and Joe Kenney, Union, Proudly endorse John Stephen in the Executive Council District 4 Republican primary. They released the following statement:
“John’s career in public service through his time as Commissioner of the Department of Health and Human Services, at the Department of Safety, and his work in the Attorney General’s office give John the experience we need with us on the Executive Council,” Executive Councilor Joe Kenney said.
“As the economy shifts due to incompetence in Washington, it will take all hands on deck to keep New Hampshire in a strong fiscal position and ensure we continue to provide the best return on investment for government spending while eliminating waste and improving efficiency.
“John Stephen is hands down the best candidate for this seat and I can’t wait for him to join us on the Council.”
Executive Councilor Dave Wheeler added “John has proven his ability to work with Commissioners and department heads to improve efficiencies and hold agencies accountable. He would make a very strong addition to the Council to keep New Hampshire on the right track.
“John’s wide-ranging experience clearly makes him the best candidate for this role. With John joining the Council, Granite Staters could rest assured that all of our agencies would be accountable to taxpayers and responsive to the needs of their customers.
“On top of that, John’s law background and experience as a prosecutor give him a unique perspective and advantage when it comes to thoroughly vetting judicial appointments, which will ensure only the strongest Constitutional minds end up on the bench as jurists in the Granite State”
